The Hilton Garden Inn Bentonville is currently taking resumes for Food & Beverage Manager .

Full service breakfast, dinner, and evening room service are served daily, as well as a full lounge open each evening.
(The property is presently going through upgrades to its 133 guest rooms and meeting space in order to provide a fresh new guest experience).

Responsibilities for day to day operations of the restaurant and kitchen include:
•Supervise, guide, schedule, and train Food & Beverage team members.
•Support proper grooming and dress code for department personnel.
•Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are in effect and followed.
•Ensure that proper cash control programs are followed.
•Conduct interviews and influence hiring and firing decisions.
•Ensure that all guests are dealt with in a professional, consistent manner.
•Ensure menu and hours of operation are strictly adhered to.
•Conduct monthly food and beverage inventories.
•Inspect food and beverage outlets for proper storage, neatness, and rotation of inventory.
•Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that properly represents the department to guests, co-workers, and management.
•Provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs and Health Department requirements.
•Perform all other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.

Job knowledge and skills required include:
•Language Skills: Ability to effectively read, write, and verbally communicate. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors.
•Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people.
•Technical Skills: Food preparation, operating food service equipment, as well as basic computer skills.
•Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
•Food and Alcohol handler's permits.
•Able to work with little or no supervision.
•Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience requirements:
•A minimum of two years restaurant food service experience is required.
•A minimum of one year supervisory experience is required.
