Here is a wonderful base recipe for delicious (and easy) skillet paella:
This recipe calls for curry powder - but I sub out the curry powder with turmeric. I have a secret stash of saffron - but I'm saving it for a rainy day. I also add black and green olives and a dash of brine from the green olive jar. You can add an extravagant amount of chicken - or sub the shrimp with chicken.
